| The San Antonio FIRE (SA FIRE), an independent team, was founded in April of 2010 as a means to bring competitive soccer to those looking for an alternative to the big-club costs. Our organization fosters a culture of fun and excitement while instilling and putting into practice our core values: Sportsmanship, Attitude, Fun, Integrity, Respect and Effort. SA FIRE coaches and players live these values at all times and are committed to doing the best they can – on and off the field. The organization has two U12 Boys teams playing at the competitive level: SA FIRE Red – Super 2; SA FIRE White – Division 2. Through positive reinforcement, our coaches build the players up while enhancing their skills. In line with the U.S. Soccer Federation coaching curriculum, our coaches provide quality training that delivers skillful and confident players. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization, we rely on fundraisers and grants to help offset tournament costs, equipment and other club necessities. With parent participation, SA FIRE works together to ensure our place in the soccer community throughout San Antonio and the surrounding area. Our environment not only inspires players, but encourages parents to have fun and enjoy the game. |
